Quiet on Astros Rumor Mill

Come on Ed. At least give us something to tease us with. I know you can move Myers. I doubt Roy O's bruise will prevent teams from wanting him? Berkman has value to teams, so does Keppinger. Ok, I realize we are stuck with Lee. Its too quiet with the deadline a week away.

Throw in the broadcast team as well.
I think we can get a descent prospect for Milo.

Ive been calling for them to trade Roy O for 2 years now, but he is my favorite player on the team, so it will be sad at same time, but necessary. Wherever he ends up, I will root for him to do well. I would love to see him on the Rangers. I hope his trade is not all Ed Wade does (Myers, Wandy, Berk, Keppinger) to turn over the talent.

Will Roy O make another start on Friday. I think not, and if that is case its a shame his last start was in that old hideous uniform.

Ryan Theriot is available from Cubs, and would look good batting second and playing SS or 2b.

I know a lot of people are bummed by the Astros of late.
I am not amongst them. I have really enjoyed watching these guys learn to hit at the MLB level.
If they keep moving people, nobody will be over thirty years of age.
I mean, right now, Roy, Carlos, and Lance are the old fellas. I don't think the rest of them are shaving yet.
Let Ed do his thing, they are better than last year in my opine. At least more fun to watch.
Three days left! Tim K does not think Roy is going anywhere, but he's in Bristol.
Only time will tell.

I respect your loyalty to the uniform. I love the game and will watch it and follow the team regardless of its standing, but the real goal here is to win a championship, something this team of close to 50 years old has never done. In time, they will start to be regarded in the same light as the Cubs for their overall futility as a franchise, even though they have produced pretty good results as often as not.
Out with the old, in with the new, suck for a year or 2, and lets make a real run at it.
